Mr. S. Aloka Bandara, who is a senior officer in the Administrative Service was appointed as the Secretary, Ministry of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government of the new government on the 19th of November and he assumed duties at the ministry on the same day. Previously he held the office of Secretary, Ministry of Justice, Public Administration, Home Affairs, Provincial Councils, Local Government and Labour.
He has joined the Sri Lanka Administrative Service in year 2003 and he is a senior administrative officer with over 20 years of experience.
