Seiri Week, which is implemented with the objective of creating a pleasant environment for public officers serving in government institutions to perform their duties properly and smoothly, as well as ensuring that the service recipients enjoy their right to receive the required services in a more convenient environment, commenced on the 01st of September at the Ministry of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government under the patronage of the Hon. Minister of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government.
The aim of the government is to provide a motivation to maintain the necessary items with proper management by removing unnecessary items from the office premises, including both inside and outside of the office, of all government institutions all over the island throughout this week.
The Minister of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government, Dr. A.H.M.H. Abayarathna, the Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government, Mr. S. Alokabandara, the Additional Secretary to the President in charge of the subject of Clean Sri Lanka Program, Mr. S.P.C. Sugeeshwara, and other officers of the Ministry were present at this inauguration ceremony.
