Letters of appointment were awarded to 1884 candidates, who have been selected from approximately 60,000 applicants through a competitive examination held to fill the vacancies existing in the Management Service Officers' Service, at Temple Trees today (29th) under the patronage of Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya.
This group of Management Service Officers is the largest group of public officers recruited to the public service since 2018 and it is noteworthy that these recruitments were made in proportion to the population ratios of each district in 2020.

Nishan Mendis, Director General of Combined Services and many other officers of the ministry participated in this ceremony of awarding letters of appointments.
