The officers of the Ministry of Public Administration commenced their duties for the year 2026 by taking the oath of the Public Service under the theme “Let’s be resilient in the face of challenges through the vision, a rich country- a beautiful life”. The official ceremony to mark the commencement of duties was held under the auspices of Professor A.H.M.H. Abayarathne, Minister of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government with multi-religious observances. Mr. Ruwan Senarath, Deputy Minister of Provincial Councils and Local Government, Mr. S. Alokabandara, Secretary of the Ministry and other officers of the Ministry were present at this event.
