The special Dhamma Sermon organized by the Buddhist Association of the Ministry of Public Administration, Home Affairs, Provincial Councils and Local Government, to mark the upcoming Vesak Full Moon Poya Day on May 30th, was held this morning (27th) at the Ministry's main auditorium.

This melodious Dhamma Sermon was delivered by Ven. Rajangane Piyadassi Thero, Dhamma Teacher at the Papiliyana Sunethradevi Piriven Vidyayatanaya, Royal Pandit (Rajakeeya Panditha), Master of Arts (Shastrapathi).

The meritorious event was held under the patronage of the Minister of Public Administration, Home Affairs, Provincial Councils and Local Government, Professor Chandana Abayaratne. A large number of officials and staff members, including the Ministry Secretary Mr. S. Alokabandara, participated in the event.
