Government Translators’ Service

Class 1:
- Shall be a citizen of Sri Lanka
- Be not below 21 years and not above 40 years of age on the last day of the month preceding the month in which the closing date for applications falls (The age limit shall not be applicable for permanent officers in public or provincial public service)
- Having obtained a degree from of a recognized university or a degree in law, or passing Advanced Diploma in Commerce of a recognized technical college or polytechnic college or Advanced National Diploma in Management of the Open University or : National Diploma in Technology of the University of Moratuwa.
- Minimum educational qualification shall be a Credit pass for the Second Language at G.C.E. (O/L) or any other equivalent examination, or any other higher qualification in Second Language and a Credit pass for First Language.
